RDS-3500 FLEX Lateral Flow Reader

The RDS-3500 FLEX lateral flow reader is designed to adapt to different testing workflows without requiring separate instruments. A single button press rotates the display 180 degrees, allowing the device to transition instantly between benchtop, hands-free operation and handheld use.

In handheld mode, the RDS-3500 FLEX is powered by a rechargeable lithium-ion battery that provides hours of continuous operation, enabling testing without connection to an external power supply. The reader is ergonomically designed to fit comfortably in the palm of the hand, supporting use in mobile, field, or on-site testing environments. Test results are viewable and stored directly on the device, eliminating the need for a separate computer during operation. When physical documentation is required at the point of testing, the reader can be connected directly to a printer. The device is also designed for easy cleaning, supporting routine use in varied testing conditions.

For benchtop use, the RDS-3500 FLEX is supplied with a stand that enables hands-free, desktop testing. Automated measurement features allow users to initiate tests and perform other tasks while results are processed, supporting efficient laboratory and manufacturing workflows. When connected to Wi-Fi, test results can be automatically sent to the cloud for centralized access and record management. The system supports both visible and fluorescent detection and includes advanced thermal control capabilities to help maintain consistent measurement conditions.
