The RDS-2500 supports lateral flow test strips with up to 5 lines. The line(s) ideally should be at least faintly visible under normal white light. Standard settings are optimized for red-colored lines. If your strip contains a different line color, our team can assist in optimizing your test settings.
The RDS-2500 can be outfitted with a custom cassette inset or strip holder. The insert is included with the device and can hold cassettes smaller than 3.5cm in width.
The Data Manager is not required to run tests. All data is directly stored and accessible on the device. The Data Manager facilitates viewing and exporting results. Contact us to download a copy.
The RDS-2500 is CE certified and RoHS compliant and has been approved by clients in GIPSA, USDA, and FGIS.

IS MY TEST STRIP COMPATIBLE?
The RDS-2500 supports lateral flow test strips with up to 5 lines. The line(s) ideally should be at least faintly visible under normal white light. Standard settings are optimized for red-colored lines. If your strip contains a different line color, our team can assist in optimizing your test settings.
The starter kit ships with either a custom strip holder (for dipstick testing) or a custom cassette insert.
CAN I USE MY CUSTOM CASSETE?
The RDS-2500 can be outfitted with a custom cassette inset or holder. The insert is included with the device and can hold cassettes smaller than 3.5mm in width.
The cassette holder costs $250 and allows for a cassette width of 4.2mm and comes with a custom calibration cartridge.
WHAT ARE THE DIFFERENT INSERTS FOR?
The RDS-2500 ships with the standard insert for dipstick testing. With the starter kit, our clients receive either a dipstick strip holder to fit their test strips or a custom cassette insert to fit their custom cassette.
